WATER!!

part 2..

Lila held her hand on her mouth, dumbstruck with fear of what…who lied before her eyes. Her beautiful grayish-blue eyes filled with tears. It was the most horrible sight she ever saw. Ash checked Brad’s pulse, she felt nothing. His mouth was soaked with blood. Brad had been such a good friend. None of them knew that he died because of his loyalty.
Ash went back to Emily and patted her back, trying her best to comfort her. All of a sudden the main door swung open and in came Tom and Nathan, their face filled with concern. Ash told them what had happened with difficulty, and all of them went to the kitchen together. As Em and brad were orphans, the good friends planned their funeral themselves. They spent the night together in Em’s house.
Two years passed after Brad’s death and the five friends planned on a picnic again. They seemed to have forgotten about Brad. Emily was writing in her journal with Nathan’s arm around her shoulder as Tom drove. Ash and Lila were busy exchanging juicy gossip.
It took them five hours to reach their destination. It was ten O’ clock at night and they were very tired. Desperately in need of sleep or at least a rest, they went inside their tents. Lila found it difficult to sleep because of the unpleasant sound of owls hooting. She got out of the tent very quietly and went over to the tent that Em and Nathan shared. She found a book lying outside their tent, so she started to read it. When she finished it she knew exactly what and whose it was. Her jaw dropped and she went to return it back to where it was. She kept it and opened the tent, but to her horror, only one body was lying there.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed her from behind, holding her hard on the mouth. She struggled hard to get free, but failed and drifted off. She woke up in a bath tub filled with water. She was in an old bathroom. Her head was spinning, trying to remember what had happened and suddenly, she felt a bolt of electricity traveling through her body. Then she lied still, in the bath tub…dead.
Next morning, everyone searched for Lila, but failed to find her. As Ash was Lila’s best friend, Em wanted to comfort her. She took her to the beach and finally they both were alone.
Being Lila’s steady boyfriend, for such a long time, tom was really sad. His closest friend Nathan had never seen him so worried. He never recalled a time of seeing Tom cry except for that day. So he did what every true friend would do; try to keep Tom in ease. He tried to be like Em and console him, but he heard the most unbelievable story in his whole life.
On the beach Emily started to talk, “I know about your feelings towards Nathan. Too bad he’s mine though. I wouldn’t let him go for anything or anyone. Then who do you think you are ton go after him? You mean nothing to him and nothing to me. Shame about everything. I mean, look at brad and now Lila. Nobody knows what happened to them.
“At least that’s what you fools think. Brad was poisoned by me, you know. He had no right to know about my plans to destroy you.” Ash could not believe what she was hearing. She started to run, but Emily skillfully gripped tight on her arm.
